Welcome Reception at Vintners Resort

Join us at the Vintners Resort Rose Terrace (next to the Event Center) to kick off the weekend’s festivities with a casual meet and greet reception and enjoy a fabulous selection of wine and appetizers, as we raise a glass and cheers together. Check in, pick up your three-day event credentials, make new friends and meet our incredible beneficiaries who make a difference in so many lives across Sonoma County.

Celebration Event at Sugarloaf Wine Co.

Join Sonoma County’s top vintners for a festive country and western themed event with Wine Country Nights: Boots, Bottles and Bites. Don your favorite cowboy boots and western gear for an evening of exceptional wine, food, live music and celebration – Sonoma County style. SCWC Live Lot Vintners will share more about this year’s incredible auction lots, with many pouring specially selected wines.
The festivities will include a Best Boots contest, so get ready to enter to win when you arrive – snap a polaroid of your boots, and add them to the voting wall inside the Sugarloaf tasting room. You can also vote for your favorite culinary team for the BBQ Showdown, and you will be entered to win fun prizes. Dance the night away to live country music from Max Vogel & The Pickups, and join in the fun with line dancing demos and more!
Single event tickets are available, or included with the full package of SCWC Events.
Parking is available on-site. You will be directed to park in the main parking lot. Once that is full, complimentary valet parking will be available (cars will be parked in an overflow parking area on-site).
Live Auction at Chateau St. Jean
Saturday, September 21, 2024 | 1:00 – 5:30pm
Dress in your favorite colorful and floral apparel for this garden party themed event, held on the gorgeous, expansive lawn at Chateau St. Jean. The welcome reception will feature a special selection of wine, passed appetizers, and live music to set the stage for the afternoon.
You will have the opportunity to meet some of our wonderful beneficiary nonprofit organizations from across Sonoma County, who make an incredible difference in the community. As we head into the auction tent for lunch and the live auction, enjoy a special performance by students from Luther Burbank Center for the Arts Mariachi Ensemble and Ballet Folklórico program.
Raise your paddle and make a difference as you bid on an array of special local experiences and exclusive auction lots from rare wines and once-in-a-lifetime trips to all-inclusive wine and culinary experiences in Sonoma County and around the world.

Register for absentee bidding and you’ll be assigned a dedicated proxy bidder who will raise a paddle on your behalf during the live auction to bid on incredible once-in-a-lifetime wines and experiences.

Insider Wine Tours, $175 per person
Step aboard one of the shuttles bound for a specially curated, insider experience to one of the diverse appellations of Sonoma County. Visit an iconic vineyard destination where you’ll experience the unique terroir and taste distinctive wines grown in this special place. Journey onwards and enjoy a wine country lunch in a special setting, with more wines and behind-the-scenes stories from your vintner hosts.
Dry Creek Valley: Insider Wine Tour
9:00am – 2:30pm | Shuttle Pick-up at Healdsburg City Hall
Enjoy a Farm to Table experience in the Dry Creek Valley, one of the smallest enclosed American Viticultural Areas, experiencing both coastal and inland influences. Its vineyards extend along the valley floor, surrounding benchlands and hillsides, and produce a diverse selection of wines ranging from renowned Zinfandels to Bordeaux and Mediterranean varietals. Your day will begin with an intimate tour of SingleThread Farms, where they grow hundreds of different varieties of culinary crops and flowers throughout the seasons, followed by a multi-vintner Beyond-Zin tasting of Dry Creek Valley’s diverse varietals at Amista Vineyards, featuring their wines along with Dry Creek Vineyard, Mauritson Wines and Ridge Vineyards. Your journey finale is a farm to table experience with an al fresco lunch at Quivira Vineyards, featuring fresh produce, estate products and wine all produced from the property and it’s lush gardens.
Sonoma Valley: Insider Wine Tour

Visit the historic Sonoma Valley and join in the celebration of the region’s 200th Anniversary, where the roots run deep and there is a family-first approach to farming passed down through generations. Your day begins with a special visit to Sangiacomo Family Vineyards where you’ll learn more about their 100+ year, multi-generational farming practices and enjoy a tasting with them and vintners who produce wines from their Sonoma Valley vineyards including Auteur Wines, Saintsbury, and Sojourn Cellars. Afterwards you’ll discover Donum with a seasonally-inspired wine paired lunch at their gorgeous Carneros Estate. Following lunch, enjoy a guided walking tour, exploring one of the largest accessible private sculpture collections in the world, The Donum Collection.
West Sonoma Coast: Insider Wine Tour
9:30am – 2:30pm | Shuttle Pick-up at Vintners Resort
Experience the cool climate wines of West Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County’s newest American Viticultural Area (AVA). This region is comprised of steep, rugged mountainous terrain along the Pacific Ocean coastline, with vineyard elevations ranging from 400 to 1,800 feet, and a cool, maritime climate producing distinctive, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Taste the place with a multi-vintner tasting of West Sonoma Coast’s cool climate wines hosted at Black Kite Cellars, featuring their wines along with Cobb Wines, Ernest Vineyards, Freeman Vineyard & Winery, Gros Venture Cellars, Hirsch Vineyards, Senses Wines, and Whistler Vineyards. Journey onwards to meet Paul and Kathryn Sloan of Small Vines for a tour of their organically farmed vineyard, with a private tasting and picnic lunch amongst the vines.

The night begins at 6:30pm with passed small bites and a special selection of reception wines, followed by a culinary journey in their private event space perched overlooking The Matheson’s dining room. You’ll enjoy a masterful five-course dinner crafted by Chef Dustin, featuring seasonal offerings with each dish celebrating the bounty of Sonoma County. Each savory course will be paired with incredible wines from your four vintner hosts, Lombardi Wines, Kobler Estate Winery, and featuring Pride Mountain Vineyards and Valette Wines (who will each be pouring their 100-point score Cabernet Sauvignons) and more. Auction proceeds from the SCWC events are distributed to Sonoma County nonprofit organizations focusing on education & literacy, health & human services, the environment and arts & culture. With the generosity of kindhearted donors, the Sonoma County Wine Auction has raised millions of dollars for the Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) since its inception, making a powerful impact on our local community. To date, more than 430 organizations have received assistance from SCVF. Your participation in the auction helps transform lives, create new possibilities, and make a long-lasting, positive change.
